Under D&C Rules Rule 65, a Schedule H1 supply is recorded with the prescriber's name and address, the patient's name, the drug and the quantity, kept for three years and open to inspection by your state's Drugs Control Department. Nesayo logs each Schedule H1 sale at billing (patient, prescriber, medicine, batch, quantity) and the pharmacist adds the prescriber's address, and expired stock is hard-blocked at the counter rather than flagged — Section 27 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act makes selling either an offence, not a formality. Schedule H1 sales are logged automatically at billing: date, medicine, batch, quantity and bill number, with the patient and prescriber names entered on the bill. Nesayo does not record the prescriber's address yet, so the pharmacist adds it to complete the Rule 65(3)(h) register. Rule 65 is the same rule the Food and Drug Administration, Maharashtra State (FDA Maharashtra) enforces across the state. GST is calculated at 5% by default (Sep 2025 GST reform) — same across India.
